Qualifications for Position:

  • Healthy attitude and aptitude, eager to learn and serve
  • Interest in facility management and working in an athletic field
  • Experience with communicating with others and directing others within given guidelines
  • Ability to work with and without supervision, as a member of a team and also by one's self
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Able to lift 20 lbs on a regular basis
    • Able to stand for extended periods of time
    • Able to stoop and bend

Expected Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage gym operations throughout the day
  • Welcome guests arriving at the gym on a daily basis, providing direction and ensuring a smooth experience as they work out
  • Participate in job duties and tasks related to areas throughout the gym, including cleaning, setting up for campers, and communicating with conference leaders.
  • Responsible for following instructions and seeking clarification when needed
  • Adhere to and help enforce all safety practices and training, including those related to COVID
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some weekends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
